14th May 2012:
This week Year 11 and 13 will be 'leaving' school and embarking on study leave and the important examinations which will open further doors to their futures. In Leaving Assemblies, and later at Proms, we will celebrate the successes of the students and wish them every success on their continuing journey.
I thought this poem captured some of the sentiment we are all feeling at the moment:
Follow Your Dream

Follow your dream.
Take one step at a time and don't settle for less,
Just continue to climb.
Follow your dream.
If you stumble, don't stop and lose sight of your goal
Press to the top.
For only on top can we see the whole view,
Can we see what we've done and what we can do;
Can we then have the vision to seek something new,
Press on.
Follow your dream.
